Taken from the Goldfields Guide (Victoria) “The Loddon River Scenic Reserve in Glenlyon offers beautiful views, a scenic walk and a stunning waterfall. This peaceful reserve features Loddon Falls, where the Loddon River drops dramatically over a wall of huge hexagonal basalt columns into a pool below before continuing on through the spectacular rocky gorge.”

I believe this is an early postcard of the above Loddon Falls. It is postmarked Melbourne 8 AM 28 5 07. It has been posted to Miss D. Debney, Continuation School, City.

The Mac. Robertson Girls’ High School began as Melbourne Continuation School, the first government funded school in the state of Victoria, established in 1905 in Spring Street, Melbourne.  Please refer to both photos provided.
