The Anabranch is a geographical region that lies within the Murray Geological Basin in the Western Division of New South Wales.

Chapter 1 opens with, ” The Great Anabranch of the Darling River, a winding stream, three hundred miles long, was once the main channel of the Darling itself. ”

This 280 page book is a fascinating read with photographs and maps throughout. It has a comprehensive three page index at the back. Originally it was purchased from Outback Books ABC Centre. I have not removed this sticker from the back cover. The book is in good to very good condition for its age.
