Tim Burstall is known as the celebrated director of Stork, Alvin Purple and other ‘ocker’ comedies. In the early 1950s Tim began to keep a diary, to record the world of the group of ‘arties’ and ‘intellectuals’ he was living among in Eltham, then a rural area outside Melbourne where cheap land was available. He kept an almost daily record of his everyday life, the parties, the talk in pubs and studios about art, politics and sex.  Please refer to the photos provided as these are of the book you will receive. Note that the book has been covered in a plastic outer which could be removed. Any questions? Please ask them prior to purchase.
