Description
This CD ROM dates, I believe, to around 1996. It has never been opened and remains in its shrink seal packaging. Written on the back are the minimum requirements: Apple Macintosh with at least 5 mb of RAM and a 14 inch colour screen running System 7 and Quick Time and a CD ROM player. The CD ROM contains hundreds of biographies of Aboriginal people from all walks of life. There are some 2000 entries, 1000 photographs, 230 sound bites (music and oral history) and 50 video clips. Readers of this work should be aware that in some Aboriginal communities the names and photographs of those who are dead may cause sadness and distress.
The General Editor is David Horton and the Producer, Kim McKenzie.
