  • In 1998 Australian designer Stuart Rattle purchased the dilapidated Musk schoolhouse and surrounding grounds and over the following years created a sanctuary inside and out. This book is a tribute to the much-loved designer and is a fitting memento to the talented and extraordinary person he was.   • This is the 296 page, 1975 hardback first edition with dustjacket written by Brett Freeman. It provides a detailed account of the activities at Lake Boga during World War 2. Lake Boga was chosen as an RAAF facility, it being a secret, southern, inland body of water where flying boats could be concealed and serviced. Please refer to all the photos provided. Please note that the front dustjacket has a couple of bumps along the edges and a section along the spine has been taped. Nothing too noticeable but mentioned for accuracy.   • Myrtle Rose White, the author, lived in the Australian outback from the age of sixteen. She lived on Lake Elder Station for seven years raising her children while her station manager husband battled to maintain the five thousand head of cattle under his command. From these experiences one of the classics of the Australian outback was written. This edition was reprinted by New Edition Rigby Limited in 1962. It is a 196 page hardback edition with dustjacket.   • This is a 168 page hardback edition with dustjacket which has been signed by the author, Suzanne Falkiner and published by Valadon Publishing, Australia, 1981. Founded in 1882 as a Merino stud, Haddon Rig is managed by George Falkiner, his daughter Olivia and their management team. In 2016, the Falkiner family celebrated 100 years of ownership of one of Australia’s premier Merino studs. Please refer to all photos provided.
