Fae Hewston Stevens has written two previous books about Koronglea (Koronglea Cobbers & Koronglea Ponies). Regardless of whether you have read the previous stories or not, this 221 page one will introduce you to the delightful Dixon family and their farm and sheep station in Victoria. The illustrator is Ian Nimmo Forrest and the book has been published by Ward Lock & Co. Ltd and printed in Great Britain by Butler & Tanner Ltd. The book is in very good condition for its age. There is no date on this book but I think it would have been published around the 1950s. Peg Maltby (1899-1984) was an English born Australian book illustrator and children's writer. She is best known for 'Peg's Fairy Book' first published in 1944 which sold more than 180,000 copies.
