This is a rare first edition Green and Gold Cookery Book which dates I believe to around 1930/31. According to the information in the preface this Cookery Book has been literally home-made in the kitchens of South Australia with recipes included from Sydney, especially of savouries. The proceeds of the sale of this book was to increase the funds of the Congregational Home Mission work. It is a hardback edition which has been reinforced with tape at the front and the back at some time in its history. Some pages have old stains, dog-ears and a couple of pages are torn.
