This is a hardback edition with dustjacket in good condition throughout. The author, Brendan Monks, came to the Shire of Gordon in 1980 to teach History at Boort High School and began to research local history for student use. The book grew from this research. There are plenty of black and white photographs provided. Refer to the photo showing the Contents page for more information.

This is a hard back edition of 144 pages with dust jacket. An introduction by author Tim Winton sets the scene of the Kimberley and the people who live there. There are fantastic photos throughout the book and stories to accompany them. The book is in good condition however there are a few marks here and there but nothing major.

This book details the letters and journals and history of a South Australian family from pioneer days to 1986. The book has 264 pages and measures approximately 19 cm by 25 cm. The front and back covers consist of laminated pictorial boards. The book is in very good condition overall however there is one small scuff along the edge of the back cover.

Mrs. Floate was an Australian, entirely self taught cook who was well known for winning a total of 1284 prizes in competitive cooking, for example winning the G.J. Coles Cup at the Royal Melbourne Show regularly. Mrs. Floate also also acted as a judge in the cooking section of various shows. This softcover booklet was produced by Robertson & Mullens Ltd. 107-113 Elizabeth St., Melbourne. Please check the photos carefully. The corners are missing on the front cover and the top right edge on the back cover is missing. The covers and endpapers are fragile but the rest is good for its age.

This is one of the first 500 copies of this biography sold by the Presbyterian Bookroom, Melbourne. It is signed by both the author and Mrs. Flynn. The author, William Scott Mc Pheat, was born in Brisbane Qld in 1929. Please refer to all the photos provided. It is the true story of the man who transformed the face of inland Australia, a man who was instrumental to the flying doctors and the famous pedal radios. The Australian Inland Mission gave new security to settlers and home makers. For its age this hardback book is in good condition. There is some wear to the dustjacket which is to be expected. Please note that a previous owner's name is present and there is some damage to the right vertical page edge (as shown in photo).

This very special First Edition book was written by Walter Emanuel (also author of 'A Dog Day') and published by Lawrence & Bullen 16 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, London in 1904. It contains 36 printed pages of text with 18, plus the title page vignette, splendid full-page colour illustrations throughout. The illustrator is Cecil Aldin.
