Olegas Truchanas, a Lithuanian born Tasmanian was a master photographer and a champion of the Tasmanian wilderness. He was also a councillor of the Australian Conservation Foundation. He sadly lost his life in the Gordon River Gorge on January 6th, 1972. This book of 144 pages, including both colour and black and white plates, has gathered together his finest works. Yang Liu was born in 1976 in Beijing and moved to Germany at the age of 13. After studying at the University of Arts Berlin, she worked as a designer in Singapore, London, Berlin and New York. In 2004 she founded her own design studio. Her works have won numerous prizes in international competitions and can be found in museums and collections all over the world.
