This is the 296 page, 1975 hardback first edition with dustjacket written by Brett Freeman. It provides a detailed account of the activities at Lake Boga during World War 2. Lake Boga was chosen as an RAAF facility, it being a secret, southern, inland body of water where flying boats could be concealed and serviced. Please refer to all the photos provided. This beautiful vintage glass light shade will require a gallery (fitting) to enable hanging from the ceiling. It gives a marbled effect having a pink background colour with brown swirls. It is 28 centimetres in length. -

The renowned Eastern Arrernte painter, Kathleen Kemarre Wallace tells stories of her elders and their way of life that she learnt as a child and young woman. Her knowledge of country, law and culture are evident in her words and paintings. Her story -telling illuminates the origins and beliefs of Eastern Arrernte people and calls for respect for the ancient traditions of the altyerre spirits. If you are wanting one with loads of character that has been well used and added to with snippets cut from elsewhere and glued in, look no further. It is small, measuring approximately 13 cm x 18 cm. The lower section of page 199 has been cut out. The advertisements are interesting too. -
This very special First Edition book was written by Walter Emanuel (also author of 'A Dog Day') and published by Lawrence & Bullen 16 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, London in 1904. It contains 36 printed pages of text with 18, plus the title page vignette, splendid full-page colour illustrations throughout. The illustrator is Cecil Aldin. Shona Nunan was born in Australia in 1959 and qualified with a Bachelor of Art -Sculpture from RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) in 1981. She has an impressive portfolio of selected collections and commissions and has an impressive history of exhibitions. Shona has studios in Italy and France.
