A daybill is a variety of Australian film poster issued to cinemas at the time of a film's release. Daybills were folded twice and then sold to cinemas. Daybills are sought-after by collectors for their rarity and their unique artwork. They look great framed. This daybill dates to 1980. Please note that there is a mark on the top right hand corner however this would be covered by a mat when framed. Fae Hewston Stevens has written two previous books about Koronglea (Koronglea Cobbers & Koronglea Ponies). Regardless of whether you have read the previous stories or not, this 221 page one will introduce you to the delightful Dixon family and their farm and sheep station in Victoria. The illustrator is Ian Nimmo Forrest and the book has been published by Ward Lock & Co. Ltd and printed in Great Britain by Butler & Tanner Ltd. The book is in very good condition for its age. This is one of the first 500 copies of this biography sold by the Presbyterian Bookroom, Melbourne. It is signed by both the author and Mrs. Flynn. The author, William Scott Mc Pheat, was born in Brisbane Qld in 1929. Please refer to all the photos provided. It is the true story of the man who transformed the face of inland Australia, a man who was instrumental to the flying doctors and the famous pedal radios. The Australian Inland Mission gave new security to settlers and home makers. For its age this hardback book is in good condition. There is some wear to the dustjacket which is to be expected. Please note that a previous owner's name is present and there is some damage to the right vertical page edge (as shown in photo). -

Frank Lloyd Wright’s buildings on the West Coast of America have not been thoroughly covered in print until this substantial book was published in 2014. Between 1909 and 1959, Wright designed a total of 38 structures up and down the West Coast, from Seattle to Southern California including the Marin County Civic Centre and Hollyhock House in Los Angeles, and the 1909 Stewart House near Santa Barbara. The author, Mark Anthony Wilson is an architectural historian who has been writing and teaching about architecture for more than thirty-five years and has written four previous books about architecture. More than 200 photographs are provided by architectural photographer Joel Puliatti in addition to 50 archival images, many of which have never been seen in print before. 'Emily's Journal - The Welch Letters' by Pat Roberts. Signed by the author (refer photo). This book details the letters and journals and history of a South Australian family from pioneer days to 1986. The book has 264 pages and measures approximately 19 cm by 25 cm. The front and back covers consist of laminated pictorial boards. The book is in very good condition overall however there is one small scuff along the edge of the back cover.
