If you are wanting one with loads of character that has been well used and added to with snippets cut from elsewhere and glued in, look no further. It is small, measuring approximately 13 cm x 18 cm. The lower section of page 199 has been cut out. The advertisements are interesting too.
  • Remember cooking with the crock-pot? What a great appliance it was back in the 1970s! Pop your meal on early in the day and it would be ready to enjoy that evening. Today's equivalent would be the slow cooker. There are some great recipes within from Margaret Fulton, the first Australian food and cooking writer, journalist, author and commentator. Started in the 1960s by Georges and Mirka Mora, art met life with interesting results. Tolarno Bistro closed in 2006 and this book is a record of an influential era of cooking, eating, drinking and being creatively merry.
