Yang Liu was born in 1976 in Beijing and moved to Germany at the age of 13. After studying at the University of Arts Berlin, she worked as a designer in Singapore, London, Berlin and New York. In 2004 she founded her own design studio. Her works have won numerous prizes in international competitions and can be found in museums and collections all over the world. A daybill is a variety of Australian film poster issued to cinemas at the time of a film's release. Daybills were folded twice and then sold to cinemas. Daybills are sought-after by collectors for their rarity and their unique artwork. They look great framed. This daybill dates to 1983 and is in good overall condition. 'Emily's Journal - The Welch Letters' by Pat Roberts. Signed by the author (refer photo). This book details the letters and journals and history of a South Australian family from pioneer days to 1986. The book has 264 pages and measures approximately 19 cm by 25 cm. The front and back covers consist of laminated pictorial boards. The book is in very good condition overall however there is one small scuff along the edge of the back cover. -
This is a hardback edition with dustjacket in good condition throughout. The author, Brendan Monks, came to the Shire of Gordon in 1980 to teach History at Boort High School and began to research local history for student use. The book grew from this research. Published by the Blue Mountains City Council. The beautiful paintings of Pichard Smolicz are accompanied by John Low's text, which outlines the historic relationship of these structures (eg.
