In May 1934 Ola Cohn's task was completed when she dedicated the fairy tree to the children of Melbourne. Ola Cohn died in 1964. The tree is a memorial to her skill and artistry. This book is now over 50 years old. It is a 1972 first edition hardback with dustjacket. The text is written by Sonja Delander and the photography is provided by Rick Buckingham. It was published by Mullaya Publications in Canterbury Victoria. Please refer to all photos provided. Thomas Eyres was born in Ballarat in 1870 and found his way to the Western Australian goldfields in 1894. After travelling by steamer and train he and a mate walked the last 180 miles to Coolgardie.
