The author, Dorothy Owen, spent her childhood surrounded by the beautiful forested mountains of Warburton, Victoria. Her father Harry Matheson was a timber man, a steam engine driver of those pioneering bush days. From Harry's notes, typed on a large old fashioned typewriter, Dorothy tells his life story which encountered the Depression and WW1. This 175-page softcover/paperback is in good condition.
