This is a hardback edition with dustjacket in good condition throughout. The author, Brendan Monks, came to the Shire of Gordon in 1980 to teach History at Boort High School and began to research local history for student use. The book grew from this research. Dennis O'Hoy worked in education from 1959 until his retirement in 1996. He was head of the School of Art and Design at the La Trobe University Bendigo campus. In 2016 he was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia Award for significant service to the community of Bendigo, particularly through heritage preservation organisations and his commitment to tertiary education. This hardback book of 376 pages is heavy ((1364 gr) and contains both colour and black & white photographs as well as black & white diagrams. It was edited by Mike Butcher and published in 2015. Frank Lloyd Wright’s buildings on the West Coast of America have not been thoroughly covered in print until this substantial book was published in 2014. Between 1909 and 1959, Wright designed a total of 38 structures up and down the West Coast, from Seattle to Southern California including the Marin County Civic Centre and Hollyhock House in Los Angeles, and the 1909 Stewart House near Santa Barbara. The author, Mark Anthony Wilson is an architectural historian who has been writing and teaching about architecture for more than thirty-five years and has written four previous books about architecture. More than 200 photographs are provided by architectural photographer Joel Puliatti in addition to 50 archival images, many of which have never been seen in print before. Please check the photos provided. The book is in very good condition throughout. There are three lineal indents to the front dustjacket, not noticeable but mentioned for accuracy.

This is one of the first 500 copies of this biography sold by the Presbyterian Bookroom, Melbourne. It is signed by both the author and Mrs. Flynn. The author, William Scott Mc Pheat, was born in Brisbane Qld in 1929. Please refer to all the photos provided. It is the true story of the man who transformed the face of inland Australia, a man who was instrumental to the flying doctors and the famous pedal radios. The Australian Inland Mission gave new security to settlers and home makers. For its age this hardback book is in good condition. There is some wear to the dustjacket which is to be expected. Please note that a previous owner's name is present and there is some damage to the right vertical page edge (as shown in photo).

Regardless of whether you have read the previous stories or not, this 221 page one will introduce you to the delightful Dixon family and their farm and sheep station in Victoria. The original book was published in 2009. This edition is a 2018 reprint of 180 pages. It has a heavy card cover. The renowned Eastern Arrernte painter, Kathleen Kemarre Wallace tells stories of her elders and their way of life that she learnt as a child and young woman. Her knowledge of country, law and culture are evident in her words and paintings. Her story -telling illuminates the origins and beliefs of Eastern Arrernte people and calls for respect for the ancient traditions of the altyerre spirits. This is a beautiful book and is in very good condition.

This beautiful vintage book is undated but I believe it to be from the 1940s. It was printed by the Specialty Press Limited, Melbourne and is from 'Digest Juvenile Productions'(Registered) 174 Little Collins Street Melbourne, Australia'. It has paperback covers and has the most amazing illustrations. The front cover has a small patch of discolouration on the top right side where a price sticker probably was at some stage. This very special First Edition book was written by Walter Emanuel (also author of 'A Dog Day') and published by Lawrence & Bullen 16 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, London in 1904. It contains 36 printed pages of text with 18, plus the title page vignette, splendid full-page colour illustrations throughout. The illustrator is Cecil Aldin.
